The Mystery of the Counterfeit Crowns

A rumor has been snaking its way amongst the merchants that the quality of the coins in the Spire has begun to degrade.
One in particular discovered that a portion of their profits was made up not of authentic crowns, but of fake coins, poorly minted and painted.
The Guard has been busy enough as of late, and so have been particularly slow in their response to these reports.
Now, some of the caravans have threatened to stop shipping goods to the Spire unless this problem is dealt with,
Leading to a job listing being put up by the merchants who call the Spire their home seeking those willing to investigate.
