News of the officially declared borders spread in regards to the Seneschalty's claims, delivered by couriers to neighboring settlements. And more notably, also to the Valkian Envoy, alongside the Duchy of Rulan, for request of recognition of the borders. Within Spiretown itself, the borders are archived and stored with the townhall for any to reference when it comes to future land disputes or that of law. 

By Decree of the Lady Steward of the Spire, Meriel Noctis,

Let it be known to all neighboring realms, free peoples, and allied settlements, that the following declaration is made in good faith and with firm resolve for the peace and order of these lands:

Henceforth, the Seneschalty of the Southern Reach is recognized as extending its present borders north to the Albern River and east to the Ouroboros River. Furthermore, the Sanshi Mines and Garden Pass are hereby declared official outposts—extensions of the Seneschalty and stations of protection beyond its formal borders—until such time as their governance is expanded or revised by decree.

Within these bounds, no universal or sovereign law yet governs, save for the enforcement of the Spire’s legal code along the Northern Road and upon those lands directly maintained and protected beneath the Spire’s purview. Crimes committed within these territories shall be subject to trial in the Spire itself, except in such cases where recognized envoys of the respective localities petition formal request for adjudication within their own jurisdictions, which may be granted at the discretion of the Steward or her appointed Council.

To the noble Duchy of Rulan, to the settlements of the Walljacks, to the Fallstoners, and to the clans of the Stonerunners, the Seneschalty extends its greetings and earnest request for recognition of these borders as declared. No encroachment shall be made upon the lands, customs, nor sovereignties of others, save where mutual accord or willing union brings their peoples beneath the mantle of the Seneschalty.

So sworn and sealed—vassal to none.
