/====[ Hunters of the Dark ]====\

\===========[ X ]===========/
The founding of this Order is a mystery lost to time. They have walked the shadowed paths for centuries, their existence whispered of in half-forgotten tales and worn into the bones of the land. With each passing decade, fewer are taught their deadly arts, for the road they walk is fraught with peril, and few live long enough to pass their knowledge to another. Yet, the Order endures, standing defiantly against the encroaching night.
Their name alone echoes with the weight of the ancient tongue: The Dúathrim, Hunters of the Dark, Slayers of Monsters.

--=={ Overview }==--
---------------------------------
The Dúathrim of the Southern Reach have been reformed by Artorius, a young Arsa Sidhe who has reshaped the order for a new era. This branch accepts any who are willing to risk their lives, whether warriors, researchers, or magic wielders, all united by a shared purpose. They devote themselves to intense physical training, honing their bodies and minds to face the relentless dangers ahead. It is a path of blood and death, where hesitation can be fatal. The only rule for the Dúathrim is clear: when the time comes to face the next deadly threat, they must be ready.
The Dúathrim of the Southern Reach are a neutral order, beholden to no Faction or Nation. Their members are free to associate with other guilds, factions, or follow personal codes, as they see fit. Each Dúathrim is treated as an individual, not bound to any singular allegiance. However, when the call to arms is sounded—when a threat demands their skill and blade—they are expected to answer, united in purpose, no matter their personal ties. Their Sigil, the Nighthound.

--=={ Recruitment & Ranks }==--
-----------------------------------------------
As Grand Master of this branch, Artorius is the one who recruits new members into the order. Any may join, offering their skills and expertise to aid these monster hunters, but a select few are picked to be official Dúathrim. As such, roles have been denoted to those that have provided such aid.

Grand Master
Only one person may fill this role, and this position is currently held by Artorius. They are expected to lead, organize, and recruit more Dúathrim into the Order.
Dúathrim
Your standard hunter. This individual has sworn themself and their weapon to this path, and are fully expected to hunt and slay dangerous monsters as their profession. They are also expected to heed the word of the Grand Master, as they are official members of the Order.
Recruit
As the title suggests, this is a new member to the Order. One that has yet to fully prove themselves as an official Dúathrim, but have devoted themselves to the path nonetheless. A hunt is usually used as a trial for these individuals, and should the Grand Master deem them worthy they are to be made Dúathrim.
-----------------------------------------------
Honorary Members
In the Dúathrim they accept Honorary Members. Individuals who provide aid but do not follow the path the Dúathrim have sworn to.
Hunter
An honorary hunter may join the Dúathrim on a hunt and reap a share of the bounty or loot they acquire doing so.
Researcher
An honorary researcher may provide aid to the Dúathrim in any form outside of martial capability. Tinkerers, Alchemists, Doctors, Mages, etc… All may fall under the Honorary Researcher role.

--=={ Services }==--
---------------------------------
An individual Dúathrim may take any job they please for any price they set, but as an official standing the Dúathrim are strictly Monster Hunters. Their aid may come in many forms, whether it be a simple skilled blade at your side, or a honed tracker that can sniff out the faintest traces of a beast. Some may even be proficient as a mage.
Anyone can contact an individual Dúathrim if they know of one, but the easiest way to contact them is leaving a post up on their notice board near their Lodge, or contacting Artorius himself via letter or in person meeting. Their lodge is located in the North-Eastern outskirts of town, just past the older ruins.
