Cadayle Fairweather
Hero Extraordinaire
Appearance
Cadayle quirks a curios brow. She ‘looks’ at you, though her eyelids are keenly shut, and it is unclear if there are any eyes ‘neath there at all, she seems to regard you quite keenly.
“I am standing before ‘ye, am I not?”
Cadayle smiles, and assumes one of her practiced heroic poses. Fists on hips, chest-puffed out, and her face bearing an obnoxiously self-confident bear-trap grin. It highlights her missing canine tooth. Otherwise her scar-quilted features remain in emotion-stretched expression, and the angle of her ratty unbrushed golden locks reveals a left ear, which appears to have been torn and mangled by the teeth of some rabid beast. Every inch of her seems to bear some horrific scar of war. Some of them still appear to be healing.
Personality
Cadayle takes a moment to laugh. It's a loud, barking, obnoxiously booming sound.
“Fye. What could I tell ‘ye of myself, tha’ ye could nae witness with ‘yer own eyes? Idiot. Are you blind?"
She snorts, and shakes her head derisively. She calls over shoulder, barking at Marteen for more of his shitty beer.
Backstory
At the mention of her origin, Cadayle’s face falls flat in deep contemplation. She is still, expressionless, and silent for a long-time.
"Hgrh. Oh? My backstory?"
The question rouses her from her deep contemplation. She almost returns to it again at the refreshed question, but snarls, and shakes her head.
"Hgrh. Dunnae matter. Dunnae care. . ."
A pause. She turns to you quizzically.
"Wha' were we talkin' of again?
Aspirations
“At first my desire was t’prove tha’ even a human could have the strength and courage of Stonerunners and Greatlings. But after gaining tha’ strength, and proving tha’ courage to myself, I now seek a place t’wield it eternally.”
A wild look enters Cadayle’s visage. Her scar-quilted face stretches into an ecstatic, wolfish, prideful grin. Her breathing becomes heavy, and her hands ball into fists that tremble with passion.
“A Forever War.”
She spoke, reverence dripping from her tone. Her ‘gaze’ drifted upwards, as if she was looking to a dream in the middle distance.
“I want to create a forever war. A ceaseless conflict, where violence an’ strength reign eternal, an’ cries of war and passion are the only words ever needed. I want t’stand at the center of this forever war, fighting eternally, as its greatest warrior.”
Her ‘gaze’ suddenly snaps back onto you. She looked insane. Unwell. Shameless.
“A Forever War. . .” She said, fixing you with a ‘gaze’ of battle-lust. “Dunnae tha’ sound like paradise?”
