Pride Funds Donated

• The $450 CAD raised during the Pride Fundraiser has been fully split and donated out to Oogachaga (Singapore), Stonewall (UK), and the LGBTQ Freedom Fund (US) with $150 CAD going to each!

Lore Updates

Storyteller Rework

• The Storyteller has recently been reworked!
• The biggest change is revival consequences;
  • Consequences are now divided into categories and changed into templates. These new templates will only affect revival consequences going forward, previously obtained revival consequences will not be altered.
• The Storyteller so that they may now take on the appearance of Fables, for the Fable-blessed characters that want more of a spiritual revival.
• Restrictions are outlined in the new and improved Storyteller DMing guide, available for the lore staff handling your revivals.

Wild Nature

• The rework for Divine Gardener has been released! Boasting three new Fabled feats along with it; being Instinct of Beast, Mark of Decay and Radiance of Renewal.
  • A unique mechanic to this Fable also comes in the form of the creation and sacrificing of talismans.
• A new craftable Talisman item has also been added!
  • Crafted using 1x Wooden Stake, 1x Leather, and 3x Lilac, Black Rose, Rose, Tulip, Peony or Orchid and requires HAR: Nature+1.
  • The Talisman's Quality is determined by the crafter's HAR: Nature stat.
  • It can be sacrificed for a Trinket Sacrifice Effect determined by the Fabled feat.
  • A talisman is representative of the crafter's personal connection to Wild Nature, losing its potency and breaking down when given to others or left unused for prolonged periods of time. You may only have one talisman on your person, and it does not count toward a consumable slot.
  • Only one may be crafted per week.

• A new section for Fable Curses has been added to the Fables overview page, as well as a list of existing ones being added to the forums.

Systems Updates

Teasers

• Defence Mechanics, Mounted Mechanics and spell patches are still in the works! Including covering some requested changes to Nightsent and Scry; alongside some rebalancing and reworking of other trouble spells.
• Everything else from last month's newsletter is in the works still as well.

Technical Updates

Handful of Updates

• Some general technical updates to chat commands, fixes, and other things!
• Revised do-not-disturb system
  • You can now create a whitelist for people who can message you while you have do not disturb (/dnd) enabled. Use /dnd add and /dnd remove to add and remove people from the whitelist. Anyone not in the whitelist will not be able to message you at all. Please note that moderation members have a bypass to this restriction.
• Chat channel aliases
  • OOC now has an alias of 'g' and 'global', so /ch g and /ch global will both go to OOC chat, instead of GlobalEvent.
• Custom attack rolls
  • DMs can now use a /roll attack <modifier> <damage> [AP / GP] for a custom attack roll. For instance, /roll attack 0 4 would display as "Attack | 4 dmg: 2d10". AP and GP can both be added to the end (order doesn't matter), or just one, e.g. /roll attack 0 4 AP GP will display "Attack | 4 dmg [AP][GP]: 2d10" 
• Food quality updates
  • Food is now given the [Consumable] quality tag, instead of actual quality based on nature tags.
• Slashes (i.e. //) will no longer italicize text, due to the issue of people wanting to use it in normal emotes. Instead, you now must use asterisks (*) to italicize.
• The Uncommon tag has been added for the product system, and rarity tags have their colour matched to the forums.
• Fabled Feats now have their requirements back on the website.
• Character traits are now displaying properly on the character card, some were displaying as blank before.
