Kalibri Odokhi

Art by me, Soup

A delicate face beset by harsh expressions and a long scar. Soft features concealed beneath thick black eyeshadow and red eyeliner.

Name : Kalibri Odokhi

Nicknames : Ink

Race : Arsa Sidhe

Culture Korami

Gender : Female

Age : 23

Sexuality : Pansexual

How long can I wear this smile? How long until I completely lose grip of which fate is real? How long until I break?

Hair : Black and shockingly straight. Bangs cut to a precise length with the sides being about shoulder length. Black hair that falls across her back reaches her waist when not typically tied into a large bun.

Eyes : A deep violet that creeps into a vibrant blue about the base. Due to recent unexpected arcane developments, her eyes glow. At either side of each black lash is intense manually applied red eyeliner.

Face : A fair skin color and mildly reddened lips. A rounded yet distinct jaw guides the eye to a long shallow scar that rides up her right cheek, pointedly walking one's attention back to her eye. Long thick ears are wrapped in a red string that dangles a bronze pair of moons beneath each earlobe.

Height : Fairly average for an Arsa Sidhe, 5’7 (170cm)

Figure : Athletic and nimble. White pigmentless splotches of skin coil about what little skin is exposed of her body. Permanent pale ink shapes these marks into designs akin to Korami art clouds. Her right arm is marred by burn marks.

Such a tiny contortion of fate. Such a drastically different outcome.

Object
I'm nothing more than a woman who stands behind an old man in a large chair. A simple innocent set piece for harsh war rooms. A potted plant in a dark stone room. I'm not enough.
Retainer
I'm the retainer to the warband's general. I am the innocent, delicate, and faceless girl countless fated-for-death soldiers confide in. A voiceless woman that keeps every secret told, good or bad.

Lily

I have seen my allies die in so many ways. Loved one's skulls split open. Comrades obliterated by Aedall constructs. Enemies begging for mercy shot down. Devote knights sundered to wither in the void. It is haunting, traumatizing, jading.

As I continue to contort and twist fate to the best outcome I can- I am constantly reminded how close everybody is to death. One misplaced stone, even, could be your end. It's enchanting and so sickeningly sapping. I feel good, being able to spare those I fight with a cruel fate. Yet seeing so many horrible outcomes in adjacency is... so... mentally damaging.

So I stand here, looming over a break of some kind. I can feel how close I am to shattering into a million pieces. It is unavoidable. My allies need me, constantly, for I have seen what could be reality were I not there to act as a smith to curse and fate. I have to continue doing this. I cannot take a break. I must do this.

When I eventually shatter, I wonder what I might reform as?

Broken Or Unbreakable?

(AionTBird) @AionTbird

I owe you something, anything, but you wont take anything.
Ataraxia - Pretty Patterns (YT) (Spotify)

A black haired woman stands in a moonlit field. A lantern held in one hand which is kept close as to not be allowed to fly away. Two pieces of parchment with notes and depictions are tucked into a small bottle, held tight.

A duet of teary eyes stare skywards in contemplation, recollection, and fear of what's to come- what is lost.

Roy

You know, I told a little girl to hold a letter for you if you ever return. Might be a bit cruel... considering I have some confidence you wont ever come back. Told her you've got one arm, love horses, use a sling, and you're always smiling. The catch is that as long as she holds the letter she's "employed" by me, able to swing by for food and money. Was my way of helping her out without her thinking I was giving her something for nothing in return. Spire orphans like to earn things... you know. Thanks for providing me that, Roy.

I had to swallow the knot in my throat to not cry in front of that kid.

I miss you. I've been caring for your workhorse, he knows something is up since you've been gone. I forget what you named him. Unforgivable I know, but I figured you wouldn't mind me naming him Tserny? That straw hat you made me the first day we arrived in the Spire as you watched over me I have tucked under my bed. I don't know what to do with it. It's such a... fragile construct, yet so ridiculously important to me. Did I ever say thank you?

Thank you for your sacrifice. Back in Uul'san. You taught me what it means to live, truly. Not as some asset to war, but as a genuine person.

Now that you're gone....
How will I remember the price of my humanity if not for your smile?
How might I understand the value of free will if not for your voice?
How do I remember the cost of being a sheep if not for your concerned gaze?

You will live on for eternity for as long as my spirit is intact. I will never forget you. I promise.

"Lily"

The woman wonders if that name would ever be spoken again? The bottle is tied to the bottom of the lantern. The whimpers of sobbing carried away on the gentle night winds. Then, a single finger at a time falls away from the lantern's grip. As one final index finger remains, the woman cant find the strength to let go. It was only with the wind's gentle caress that the lantern finally was let free.

Innocence. Pain. Childhood. Home. Everything that came before the Spire, gleaming against the night sky. Fading away until lost amidst constellations.

It's time to move on.

But I don't want to forget...

You won't. You promised.

Ink had a big game changer IRP! She's moving into a third arc- maybe her final?

First arc - Arrival to the Spire, adjustment to free life.
Second arc - Harnessing strength, responsibility, goals, and magic.
Third arc - ????

Profile updated accordingly. Also new art.
