The redheaded blacksmith has been seen less and less polluting the streets of the Spire, his vampiric presence slowly vanishing from the places he once frequented.

[!] The students of the SIA are being toyed with
A rather peculiar moth-like creature - the body of a human, wings and antenna of a moth - has been spotted in and around the Southern Institute of the Arcane in the last couple of days. Several students complain they've been near harassed with questions, or being told that they should play a game with it.
Occasionally, students complain of having hexes put on them if they lose a game, or otherwise annoy the creature. Sometimes when it just feels like messing with students, apparently. For the most part, it seems harmless, or at least, not malicious.
The squeaky female voice doesn't seem to leave the confines of the SIA property. Evidently, its range of tomfoolery is limited.
Thank the fables for that.

A Bloody Skirmish has happened near the Kirin Brewery.
Evidence of such would be large smears of blood decorate its dirt and gravel road alongside its nearby bridge.
Furthermore,
The Wanderer of the Spire, To those who might know of her; has left the Valley's and Spire's streets one less of its everyday traverser with her abrupt disappearance.

Rumor makes its way back to the Spire of a bloody battle between village hunters and Griffins in the cliffs west of Albern Crossing, slaying one adult and its juvenile at the cost of many dozens of sheep and the lives of several hunters.
Some rumors claim seeing a great pyre of smoke rising from the cliffs close to this fated afternoon; the smell of roast mutton permeating the winds to the east shortly following, to the delight of many.
Other rumors claim seeing two shapes in the form of a lion and eagle, one small and one rather larger, spotted flying in the moonlight, headed northward across the Albern river.

And in the wake of the Militia's return... The common signs of a Poltergeist would begin to be spotted within the outskirts of the spire's woods, leading off into the orange-leaved trees of the Autumnglades. Brief glimpses of crackling energy, embers and flames peppering in small patches throughout the forests. It cannot seem to wander too far from the Spire, as if something is tethering it close nearby...
On That Note... The Jester is Gone.

Definitely a Poltergeist.
Crackling flames ring out from the autumnal forests... Smokestacks billow high over the horizon. Howling whistles of sparks fly off and asunder... Definitely a Poltergeist. It must be a strong one, at that. Feathers scatter through the air, those who wander close to the edges of the woods could hear the sound of clicking, like flint and steel striking... and the sounds of ghastly groans and whimpers.
Its definitely a poltergeist, right...?
If so, its an angry one.

Rumor makes its way quickly through Albern Crossing - a robber, posing as the deceased knight "Ser Corin Vale" has been apprehended by a group of Spire folk after a daring chase; the real knight, whose possessions were found in the Albern inn, was found dead and buried along the Albern river hours later after the arrest, his armor and identity stolen by this robber. It is said that the robber and his crew stole from a lone wine merchant - an infamously shrewd and wealthy man named Silas Vane - for several weeks, taking advantage of the decreased militia presence, posing as men in uniforms, and selling the wine back to the town at a marked down rate.
Thankfully, that has come to an end, to the dismay of many happy-hour wine lovers.

South-east of the Spire, down where the pale oak towers above the trees, a trail of crimson leads into town. Long dried by the time the sun peeks over the horizon. No victim nor assailant to be seen nearby, nothing but the wind carrying odd noises from the tree into the night.
After many nights gone unseen, a voidborne enters town once more. Dipping into the library, soon exiting with several books. Back into hiding not long after.
A bed room door ripped off it's frame, a balcony railing kicked off it's nails, mad laughter and a golden-headed hero with a bulging sack of armaments.
Within the upper echelon's of the Spire's Estate district, rumor spreads of the Hero of the Spire leaping from the second floor, armed to the teeth. Last sighed she was seen heading for the Valley of Flowers.
To any with access to the interior of the estate. . . ( @Dee @MCcookie333 anyone else I might have missed)
[!]
A fight in the Valley of Flowers, a woman gone mad.
Not too out of the ordinary for the Spire.
Except for the massive Etherdome cast over the area in the middle of the fight, of course.
It wasn't up for very long, but the scent of ether and ozone lingers in the area, familiar to anyone who knows a certain green-eyed mage.
(Shout out @Dee and @WHATARUCKUS for letting me hop in on an awesome fight!)
