Issue 1 || Reflection 9, 1641

Crayfish down!
On 2nd of Reflection, the small dock by Albern's Crossing was filled with smoke, as the black mark bounty for a rather large crayfish had been claimed by a party. Necrophage wolves were reported to have been attacking the gates of Albern's Crossing as well not too long ago.

An explosive finale
The bounty for the Midnight Circus' ring leader known as Terryn Fenro Bellefeuille was successfully claimed. He was said to be found in an arena made of fire, fighting against Ser Maliketh and Cavaliere, before having died in a final explosion which left many onlookers injured. His final words being "may chaos take the world." An evacuation of the hospital followed not long after, for reports of a bomb.

It's reported that some of the troupe members continue to have explosive runes within their bodies, and all that were once associated are to seek examinations at the hospital. A full list of symptoms and proper notice has been posted by Raven Hoshimi. Do not attempt to disable the runes by yourself.

Missing Persons
There have been a growing increase of missing persons over the week— with roughly 4 to 5 as recent victims. A few are known by name; one being Ignis, a void touched. And Rio, a scarred woman usually seen wearing a red blindfold. One known as Rumm has been confirmed dead, with the rest still unknown to the current time being.

Search parties are currently still ongoing, with little to no updates on anybody's whereabouts

New shops to open soon!
The Greenhouse Tailor announces it's grand opening, set for the 11th of Reflection with a sale and some foods for all who drop by. A bakery and sweets shop also looks to open its doors soon as well.

The Missive of Typhon
A message from Lady Corine has been passed down from the Mist Isles, and details that a new shrine to the Siren Serene shall be built within the South of the Spire.

The Typhon Tourney
Festivities for the Typhon Tourney have begun starting the 14th Reflection, taking place daily for 2 weeks until the 23rd of the month! Held as a grand celebration of sport, revelry and fellowship; in honor of the Spirefolk and as well as to celebrate the Lady Steward's birthday. Festivities upcoming in the coming days include the mock tribunal, Knight and Charge, Siege the Tower and jousting.

Many fair games and activities like the Wheel o' Woe, the archery range, and fortune telling will be open during the period. Tickets to partake in games can be bought from the Fox's Den, as well redeem vouchers for prizes.

Rumors of the Circus
Rumors regarding the Midnight Circus have been circulating; claiming that its current leader Ariella Bellefuelle would wish to see the Spire destroyed. Other claims include the one known as Tarvoch Canavan being behind the many burnings of circus caravans, ending the lives of hundreds- if not thousands- of potential victims. Whether these rumors are true, however; has no discernable evidence to prove or disprove just yet.

Arrival of Royalty and the Imperials
Her Highness, Princess Tanya, had arrived to Albern's Crossing yesterday on the 14th of Reflection, and arrived in the Spire not too long after. She has set up a tent within the tourney grounds.

A dozen or so Red Fists have also been reported to be headed for the Spire escorting a small caravan

A.R.C Expanding Operations
The Aedellian Researchers Commission have recently been sighted nearby the spire excavation and research site, seemingly in an effort to investigate surface ruins. A party had also recently returned from a successful expedition delve into the Undercity's catacombs. Research will continue, and more parties will eventually dive into the area again in the future.

Vampire Attacks on the Rise
Vampire attacks have been reported to be happening more, with many recent incidents. Reports mainly seem to focus on two in particular; one with silver blonde hair and another usually seen with a veil, accompanied by hissing akin to a snake and a single glowing red eye as reported by most victims.

The Serpent, as dubbed by people for the hissing noises, is known to attack those who wander around at night. Most reported attacks are of those in the woods, and would chase after victims. It's adviced to exercise extra precaution if out when its dark. Beware the Serpent in the grass.

The other vampire without a title (to the writer's knowledge…) was last seen in the forest east of the tourney grounds, feigning injury before attacking and feeding on people. Reports also say she was seen stumbling away from the beaten body of the one known as Cadayle outside of the Catnapp Inn. A yowl, similar to that of a mountain lion, was heard from the vicinity and is assumed to be from the vampire.

A few hunters have stated that they will be hunting down the perpetrators in the coming days and beyond.

Missing Persons Return
A few of the semi recently reported missing persons of varying instances have been confirmed found. Including Ignis, Icarus and Caleb— known as Tarvoch to some.

Investigations and statements regarding some disappearances point to what sounds like a cult dedicated to the self proclaimed hero Cadayle, after four of those missing cases were caused by spiked drinks in the Undercity tavern and forcing them all to fight while under influence. Their underlying motives are unclear, but all Spirefolk are adviced to be aware and keep safe nonetheless.

Store Updates
Blossom Co. had released 4 new outfits during the 17th of Reflection, boasting soft pastels and cutesy patterns. The owner, Satoru Sakurada, has passed ownership to Eleanor Lovedale. The store name has also been rebranded to Romance and Ribbons.

The House of Bugs was temporarily closed, fliers being posted around the Spire reasoning that it awaits new exotic species.

Fungal Outbreak in Albern's
Albern's farm cows have recently come down with an unknown illness, where any milk or meat harvested from the animals spoilt instantly. People have gone to help investigate, and have reports detailing the affliction.

The affliction is an ooze spreading fungus in the fields of Albern's Crossing, carried across either corpse-cicadas or releasing via spores by burning. They produce red, finger-like growths that can move around on their own.

A different party was sent to find another cow gone missing, also afflicted by the fungus in question. Sergeant Eivor's report details most of the incident— but notes that anyone planning to face the creatures or anything else in the field is highly adviced to cover their mouths and nose to avoid inhaling any spores. If anyone is injured by an infected creature, seek medical attention as the person is likely to be infected as well. He also writes that Doctor Konrad can give more in depth descriptions on anything else discovered inside the cow after it was slain

Typhon Tourney Coming to a Close
Today, on the 23rd of Reflection, marks the final day and event of the Typhon Tourney with its last event of the festival being Siege the Tower. The prize booth will remain open for a few days, to allow people to claim rewards if they haven't already.

A mystery event has been added to the schedule for the 24th Reflection, coming before the closing ceremony. Congratulations to everyone who has won the games!

A rumored splinter group of the Midnight Cirus that followed after the old leader Terryn Bellefuelle stands against the current leader Ariella, looks to be true after the recent recovery of Tarvoch.

Issue 4 || Snowmelt 3, 1642

Woglet Hibernation Ends
Woglet hibernation periods are rapidly coming to an end, and are expected to arrive in the Spire in a few days tomorrow. Residents are adviced to take necessary precautions regarding this information.

Regarding the Scarlet Plague
Refugees arriving from the Faded Steppe have been identified to have a high risk of carrying the Scarlet Plague. An account from Doctor Liatris Ulesinski speaks of a 14 year old suffering symptoms of the plague with a worsening infection.

Common early symptoms of the illness are coughing, fever, running nose, and bloodshot eyes. Chills, lightheadedness, bouts of amnesia, brain fog, blindness, muscle spasms can develop as the illness progresses. Patients may seem suddenly cured a few days before total organ failure kills them.

Any financial support to Albern's Clinic would be appreciated, as well as general assistance as long as helping parties agree to keep safe whilst present.

Greenrain Fashion Competition
Ribbons and Romance has announced that a fashion competition is to be held during Greenrain and is currently looking for volunteer help. All proceeds are planned to be donated to the Albern's Crossing clinic. Exact details regarding the competition such as the theme and date are yet to be posted.

Initial Addressings of Concerns with the Circus
Ariella had announced she was to answer questions and clear up anything the Spirefolk would have liked to ask regarding the Circus one midnight, situated in the tourney's festival grounds. Many questions were asked, which will be covered below in bullet points; before a few of the clowns were executed on the spot for being part of the rumored splinter group out to end the current leader.

- There have been a recorded 28 attempts on Ariella's life, 18 circus members killed, 27 more injured.
- Ariella is planning to atone based on the forgivingness of the Spire and the ability to quench Hungers
- Ariella confirms the existence of a splinter group run under someone named Harrison (her brother). The known kidnapping was NOT her doing and she disavows it.
- Believes Caleb remains a threat as a rogue agent
- Harrison is a hemomancer and a vampire (according to Raven)
- Ariella, Harrison and Caleb all have the most power in leadership
- Ariella claims that Caleb is in fact a serial arsonist and over 86% of Midnight Circus carnies were taken in
- Caleb did burn down all their caravans. Ariella adds that this is something he can't keep in check, especially with an apparent Devil on his shoulder
- Claims Caleb remains a pyromaniac on his own, and Terryn mostly only influenced him. Saying that its a hunger, the same way humans hunger for food
- Harrison's group is planning a mass scale attack on the Spire as Terryn originally planned.
- Kyrus asks what the point of this is if Ariella says to not trust them. Ariella shows the people willing inside a Dreaming Domain. A massacre, she says. That's all the circus folk could be fed with. And that eventually it'll have to be fed. Ariella has decided to starve.
- Ariella says she intends to destroy the Midnight Circus and says she intends to dismantle Terryn's ideologies

The Midnight Circus' Leadership Change
The Midnight Circus had recently seen a change in leadership from Ariella, to her brother— Harrison Bellefuelle as announced by him. All under affiliated under the circus that resided on the topside has retreated back to the Undercity. Ariella was last seen headed to the Full Cask tavern with a bottle of wine during sunset, before going missing. A small interview (of sorts…) was held with the current leader with the help of Ser Maliketh.

Harrison claims that he and Ariella were as close as siblings could be, and says that Ariella; as quoted by him— lost her way. He says that Ariella has been trying to starve herself and he couldn't just let it happen. The topic of hunger had resurfaced again in the exchange, and when asked what both his and Ariella's hungers were; Harrison answered that Ariella's was responsibility. To hold the reigns of a ship no matter how far it sunk, as quoted. He has stated his hunger to be of love. And that he loves people, to see them flourish and to see them fed.

Ser Maliketh then asked how the Spire and the rest of the Circus fit into the equation, which was answered by Harrison saying that there were many hungry people here in the Reach. That this place was a flourishing ground. The circus is quoted to be a deliverance to one's deepest desire made manifest, and was led here by Caleb.

Ultimately; not really much of an interview outside of some vague enough answers in the writer's opinion.

Regarding the Outbreaks
A three page report has been published by Doctor Konrad Radziwill regarding details concerning the current outbreak of the fungal ailment that swept across Albern's farms. Copies of the report can be requested at the Empty Cask. The Stewardess has also posted a decree regarding recent events.

Issue 5 || Snowmelt 24, 1642

Circus Updates
On Snowmelt 21, a mass scale fight between a party and the circus ensued in the early morning located at the Lion's Den causing a cave in. The survivors made it to the hospital with some fleeing carnies in tow as well. It's reported that howling noises could be heard throughout the night, before a two bodies would be excavated and carried out of the Undercity with descriptions matching those reported in recent death notices.

On the other end, 3 people were attacked by the circus' ringleader at some point. Reported to have almost been killed, but was stablised by healers at the scene and treated immediately afterward in the Undercity clinic.

The Heartreader
Madama Dorè, who titles herself as a Heartreader; asks that all Spirefolk who are lost and too weak to see the past, those who fancy higher thought and ornate verses, or those who are simply curious to know their true heart— to seek her out for her services. She can be found within the Valley of Flowers, residing currently in the Druid, Méabh's, house.

The Office of Exchequer
Exchequer Samiylo has been reported to have gone missing in recent days, and his disappearance was reported on the same day the Militia, alongside volunteers, headed out to rescue an ambushed caravan from raiders in the Amafells. As such, all power has temporarily been transferred to Kyrus. With the authority of the Deputy Stewardess. All concerns, requests, and other such events are to be brought to him until Samiylo is found.

Evacuation of Albern's Crossing
The Militia has recently decided through vote that all civilians, resident or otherwise, in Albern's Crossing are to be evacuated immediately. The Militia has stated they will assist in such, but any who are willing to remain and assist in defending are encouraged to reach out. Any willing tellurgy mages are to ask to assist if possible.

And, if you see an odd creature in the night- vaguely shaped like a dog, sputtering in its shape, staticky, glowing or just weird. It is highly adviced to not approach or look too long. Do not approach or engage with it, and do not look at it too long. Turn and leave the second you see it.

Shop Updates
The DuGrois Prospector Company has taken a reorganisation of structure, providing new opportunities to external investors and the such in revitalising the Undercity's economy, as well as having access to the advancement of geological technologies produced by their reasearch teams. Interested parties are to contact Magden DuGrois.

The Void Hearth Keep has officially opened its doors recently with a celebratory opening welcome to its tavern! While its tavern is open to all citizens, the Keep mainly aims to provide temporary housing and shelter to any lost Void-Touched who may need it. It's encouraged to send any who may need the help to this location.

The Sea Turtle Workshop has also recently been opened, and can be found down on the docks. Boasting services such as general woodworking including furniture, musical instruments, decorative crafts— to more specialised work such as ship repairs and alterations, coopery, and construction carpentry. Woodworkers who are looking for work are encouraged to pay a visit.

Rumors, Gossip and Everything Else
Vampire attacks continue to stay ever present. All residents are adviced to be careful when out at night, and to continue avoiding the woods or outskirts without proper protection. A recent victim was found with their hand cut off, but was swiftly taken to the hospital for the rest of their injuries.

Rumors float around regarding a toymaker's request… though it just turns out they need four people to play a nice card game. If you seek entertainment, perhaps pay them a visit in the Valley

A small, friendly naiad- locally dubbed "Fountain Friend", has been found living in the town's fountain just outside the Full Cask where the tree now blooms with flowers. And to all the fey skeptics- she's not interested in causing issues. Many people have asked her directly and she simply wants to return home.

There have been multiple small occasions of people hearing haunting music and voices coming from the sea. Nobody quite knows what the sources are, but rumors say they see two sirens- whilst some say they see two phantoms. An old letter or poetry can be found following the apparition, and those who stay close in its proximity report feeling a huge wave of sadness.

Issue 6 || Firstide 8, 1642

The Circus' Finale
On Firstide 4, the Black Marked target Harrison Bellefuelle has been confirmed dead. His captives, Caleb and Ariella, have been said to be rescued by the party alive and safe. Thanks can be given to the following; Bracchus Moontusk, Kitty Grandine, Yarrow Neredas, Crow Sorokin of House Noctis, Ser Maliketh, Stewardess Meriel Noctis, Perilla Ulesinski, and Yuna Moontusk.

Dorian Locke, the other marked, has reported to been grievously injured. Spirefolk are adviced to be aware of his description as provided within the Stewardess' Late Snowmelt decree— and to report any sightings as needed.

The Scrounge of Albern's Defeated
Reports of a great battle in Albern's returned on Snowmelt 27 in the early dawn, speaking of a great battle against an overwhelming patch of rot. Witnesses speak varyingly of the events, ranging from saying a giant hand grasped magic from the air to other such grand notions. Many casualties of civilians has been confirmed; and many were injured in the process.

People are still asked to take caution, as even though the Eldarhorn has been neutralised in Albern's— a notice that Woglets have been recently infected. Symptoms of infected Woglets include shortness of breath and starred eyes, hearing voices or seeing eyes. If spotted, do not approach, and do not accept its gifts. Keep fire away from it, and do not look it in the eyes.

Eldarhorn Updates
Eldarhorn overgrowth has been noted in the Undercity from the now abandoned grounds of the Midnight Circus, having spread from deeper within the Lion's Den closer to its entrance. Tellurgists have set up an ice wall to prevent further growth. Citizens are adviced to take caution nonetheless.

Infected Woglets have also continued to be spotted. Again, if you see a Woglet acting strange or with eyes akin to a starry void; do not interact with it, and do not make eye contact or accept any of its gifts.

Unidentified Cadavers
The militia has made a notice that three unidentified Voidling cadaveres within the center of the Spire on 7 Firstide. The cause of death was unknown. They encourage residents to visit the Militia Barracks in an attempt to identify the three. Burial is to occur tomorrow, if not identified.

Greenhouse Tailor Relocation
The Greenhouse Tailor has announced that its location has been moved to the southern part of town, not far from the fairgrounds and that a celebration of its relocation is to be announced soon

Other Rumors
A few whispers in passing spoke of how during one night, the land around the graveyard grew cold and dark as what people say was the Nocturne briefly sweeping over the area; plaguing the residents of the Flower Valley with nightmares. In the middle of the night, a shrill cry broke the silence. It was gone by morning, and a new presence lingers in the graveyard

Misty was apparently seen on the bridge leading out to the Spire acting strange, almost like she had lost control before attacking some of the other residents in the Spire. The notoriously named Franklin Keye accompanied by Dorian Locke appeared at the scene as well. Said to be overheard speaking to the masses, comparing himself to a God and other such things.

Issue 8 || Firstide 23, 1642

Grand Innovations

Beckett Wicker, an new artificer, had been recently arrested after showcasing an apparent revolutionary step in the magic of artifce. He claims that it was unlike other constructs that were engraved with runes; that it was truly sentient. The construct itself was capable of movement and, curiously, speech. Though it quickly self destructed not too long after by pulling its core out with its own hands.

Beckett was accused by people of using the souls of the dead Voidbornes that were found within the Spire, and is to be further questioned in the future.

Locke & Keye Attacks
Within the span of a single night, countless attacks on Spire residents have been reported. Ranging from locations such as the fairegrounds, a small cabin, the library, along a path through the Valley of Flowers, and the tavern. All have been gravely injured.

Many, many mutants have also been infected as a result of these attacks and have fallen ill. The infected may turn aggressive a week after initial infection. All residents, including the infected, are adviced to stay alert and keep cautious

Magical Classes
The Southern Institute of the Arcane was opened earlier within the month! Any willing students or aspiring mages are encouraged to attend the many classes held there.

Other Rumors
There've been reports of something along the lines of sick fish and terrible smells coming from the Ouroboros river

Rumors speak of a thief in the Undercity stealing a family heirloom, with the victim offering 200 crowns to whoever can get it back. At the same time, some speak that a person on topside is also asking on the same heirloom but doesn't mention anything about the Undercity

A bloody brawl in the Slug Hole left a huge mess, leaving a weapon embedded into the ground afterward. A blond haired woman with a greatling beside her was said to have managed to claim the weapon left behind.

Issue 9 || Greenrain 15, 1642

Attacks Continue from Locke & Keye
On the 2nd of Greenrain, Drenmir was reported to have been found dead, with the attacker escaping after being trailed and before she could be interrogated further. It was noted that Franklin Keye himself had also been watching the aftermath by a spectator. On the First of Greenrain, however- Drenmir has been brought back with the help of Graveblossom. The writer sends out well wishes

Another attack came in the early mornings in between the guardhouse and the hospital's path, and a group of adventurers were led toward the Vampire tree following where the crows flocked and embers crackled. Mellory had also been reported to have gone missing around that time, though some say they last saw her roaming away into the woods east of town. 

Everyone involved in the fight left injured, but a rumor that Caleb has managed to fight off the infection emerged as well. Only time can tell now on whether its true.

Red Mark Bounty Claimed
A fight had occured on the balcony area of the Full Cask, left with the bloody aftermath and a carved Ouroborus by the doorway. Cosimo; also known as (the) Serpente— had successfully been captured and turned in as per the bounty written in the Firstide Stewardal Decree. He currently resides in the cells

A Fey Attack?
A camp of merchants had apparently lost their jewelery and goods to a creature that reportedly turned into a swarm of bugs, another merchant wound up at the refugee camp clinic with a bear trap clamped to their behind.

Missing Persons
At some point the one known as Mellory Arskic, the nurse that works in the hospital, had disappeared. She wasn't seen for a few weeks, with only her bloody bonnet left behind and signs of struggle under the Vampire Tree. Some people have recently reported seeing her again; looking like a ghost and dressed in flowy and loose white garbs, as if she had been brought back from the dead.

Two known others— Perilla and Liatris Ulesinski, have also seemingly disappeared mysteriously around 10th of Greenrain. Their house looking like it was abandoned, with the door and first floor windows boarded up with wood. Passerbys report the smell of death wafting from the house a few days after this instance; with rumors talking about a vampire living there, a creepy woman (possibly being Mellory) and Liatris acting oddly strange, scared and worried before the house was abandoned. The smell began to dissipate after a small group went inside. The current whereabouts on all three are currently unknown.

Similarly, a sudden rise of missing people within the Flower Valley has been happening— with their spouses from several households putting up posters for those missing, worried as those missing have been gone for longer than usual. Rumors speak of bandits kidnapping them or, worse; vampires hunting them down.

Eldarhorn Woglets
Eldarhorn infected Woglets continue to be spotted wandering around the Spire, with a bounty being put up for anyone who kills them. A SIA lecturer is gathering student mages and casters to practice on the bounty marked creatures.

Infected Woglets are easily identifiable by the starry night in their eyes, and are also much fatter than usual.

A Call for Hunters
A few notices were put up recently, calling for people willing to tackle some contracts to help fight off the monsters of the wilds. Those willing are instructed to find Argonaut just beyond the north gates of the Spire by the Hunter's Dream. Either personally or by leaving a mark

The Force of the Law
A notice had recently been put up, accusing the constable Raime of excessive force used on a pair of patrons after what started in a non violent altercation. It's written that it began with Cadayle being openly cruel to one of the patrons, Ain, referring to him as an animal— resulting in her drink being stolen and pettily poured onto her person in retaliation by Asuka. Alledgedly, Raime did not intervene as Cadayle proceeded to presumably choke out Asuka. He casted on her to protect himself in return.

Asuka and Ain say that they were next stopped by the constable as they attempted to leave as to not cause more conflict, before alledgedly Raime began to pummel Ain whilst calling him a dog, and apparently in his own words— attempted to "break" Ain in front of Asuka. Raime was apparently not wishing to let the pair go until bystanders stepped in. Harm reportedly done included grabbing Ain by the wrist and beginning to twist hard, as well as kicking him in the legs.

Other Rumors, Gossip, and Everything Else
A duel had happened between Maliketh and Elijah over the events closing out the circus, with Elijah ending it by yielding prematurely. The reason is said to be over the latter's actions during the finale to the Circus, with the fight taking place below the Vampire Tree just outside the Spire with quite the audience. Several people seemed very upset about this.

The shop dubbed "Relaxation" run by Meli is open and welcomed to all, including topsiders, down in the Undercity. She says her spot is to be a neutral ground where people can share delicious meals and drinks together, with trusted customers willing to vouch for it.

The market for rainbow trout has seemingly been surging in price after a generous amount was purchased. Notably, many merchants selling fruit were paid out as well after a patricular patron passed through to buy in bulk for an upcoming event.

Vampire attacks continue to plague the town, with one happening quite recently. The bakery currently goes understaffed as Liatris has gone missing.

The Cabal of Corpses
Mutant animals have been reappearing around the Spire's vicinity again lately, with the suspicion that the Cabal of Corpses has reemerged. Hawks that explode into acidic blood, wolves with higher strength, and small mournshades that skulk in unseen spots to prey on unlucky victims. It's adviced that people remain alert and careful when wandering around at night. Some people speak of a banshee's appearance as well.

A Cure to Vampirism
A study into Vampirism as a whole as well as a potential guide to curing has recently been posted by Shizakawa Kaho. Books and posters have been distributed regarding it to anyone who may be interested in the subject.

Missing Persons and Attacks in the Valley
The number of missing persons continues to rise over the weeks, with those such as Azuran (who may have been kidnapped) and Elijah having disappeared in recent times. Many seem to be correlated with the recent increase around the Valley of Flowers, along with attacks from vampires leaving many injured. People report screams being heard around, and fear levels are high within the area. Attacks have gone further to near the edges of the valley on the road out of town, as well as various spots around there.

Recent victims have included Kai, barely getting away with major injury; Nergui, who went to hunt down who had harmed him, having one of her horns chopped off during the fight; Serimei a few days later within the northen trees of the Kirin Brewery; and another victim unnamed, whos lost their ring finger.

Residents of the valley and general Spirefolk are urged to take as many precautions as possible to assure personal safety.

Nia Belot plans to hold a gala soon— with merchants to auction items, food and drink, and music (played by yours truly, if I can make it…) to go with it. The details regarding it have not yet been posted as of writing, but it's an event to look forward to nonetheless

Meriel Noctice has formally issued her return with her duties as Lady Steward in full capacity. The Seneschalty is also currently seeking individuals interested in serving beneath the offices of the Magister, Chancellor, Exchequer, or Steward. 

Those interested in things such as organization, event planning, public outreach, construction, development projects, matters regarding the Waking One, or assisting citizens in navigating government services are encouraged to apply. Both for long term involvement or merely being able to help when able.

Second Battle of the Striped Pass
The Spire Militia has been reported to have won their battle located at the Striped Pass, the main route between the Reach and the Faded Steppe. A muster order was put out two days before then, to head out to the Sanshi Mining Camp that was indicated to be attacked by Hangua remnants beyond the Amafells.

They successfully stopped, reportedly, nearly a hundred raiders and mercenaries seeking entry into the Southern Reach. With hours spent battling, and victory claimed by nightfall.

Locke & Keye Attacks Continue
A battle broke out on the docks on Greenrain 17, with a group of Spirefolk fighting against two members of Locke and Keye as well as a mutated creature that seemingly spawned out of an infected man. The details of the battle specifically have been lost to the writer, but everyone was injured from the battle. The two attacking members of L&K, identified as Azlin and Grendel, managed to escape.

Another battle had happened on Greenrain 22 against Grendel, Franklin Keye himself and another mutated creation. The specifics on this fight are lost as well, but Grendel and Franklin both managed to escape— with Azuran and an unidentified pink haired arsa sidhe being taken with them. 

Locke and Keye seem to be continuing experimentation on mutants, though for what reason or what extent they'll push it is unknown

Rumours, Gossip, and Everything Else.

On Greenrain 18, late in the night— sounds of fighting was heard at the Woglet Scholar Archive. In the morning was a trail of blood leading from the streets to the store floor, with books and papers scattered amongst the spilt blood and splintered shelves

A few hours past nightfall, a hunter returned from looking for game holding a cloth-wrapped, bloody spade with its end still covered in soil from a day of work. He reported that while he was out, he heard someone calling out for help in the distance— yet came to nobody there except for blood and the spade on the ground. He assumed a fight of sorts had broken out, but couldn't tell between what or who. Someone else was overheard asking for help close to dusk, as a vampire friend had gone missing. The identities of any of the people are unknown.

Rumors recently spread about how tobacco can cause gastric distress and can lead to soiled pantaloons. Similarly, rumours say as well that bircaroot extracts and tinctures cause the opposite effect. These claims come from a merchant, saying he sells an antidote for stomach issues in the form of hetuck powder.

Some speak of Thrudni bragging about, supposedly, beating a vampire unarmed and unarmoed. Witnesses say a figure dressed in black was seen crawling away from the bookstore in a trail of blood.

There's been whispers on Ser Maliketh and Caleb heading out suddenly into the swamp together, and how Ser Maliketh has been spending a lot more time with Bracchus lately. Some people theorise that he may like men as much as he loves women. The writer does not claim accuracy on these rumors.

People say that Myra and Kitty are best friends because the latter likes the sound of the gong. The writer does not claim accuracy on this rumor either.
