Description
The Thieves' Guild are a group of vigilante criminals, serving under the Argent Maiden to get justice for those who were unable to get it through legitimate, legal means. They do not target innocent people or the undeserving, they go after murderers, con-men, the corrupt, and all others that would prey upon the innocent. They operate through sworn secrecy for their clients and themselves, all members must wear disguises and go by a codename while performing guild operations, and only the leader of the guild knows the identity of the people who enlist their services. To join or enlist their services IC, send a letter through the mail pigeons to the Argent Maiden with your character's name and why they want to join. OOC, message @certshrimp or @sanriosugarr on discord.
Code of the Thieves' Guild
I) It is unacceptable to steal from or harm innocents. They are to not be targets of the guild.
II) We do not seek personal fortune or fame through guild actions. Our services are for those in need, and payment is not guaranteed.
III) We shall only accept contracts that are morally good, as decided by the entire guild with a vote. We commit our crimes to avenge those who have been wronged, have no one else to turn to, or do not wish to have prying eyes in their business.
IV) Privacy of our members and clients is sacrosanct. While carrying out any duties for the Thieves’ Guild, one must be disguised and only be referred to as their Thief Title, and clients are only to be contacted by the Argent Maiden to ensure their privacy.
V) Members of the guard, or those who would aid them, are forbidden from joining or contracting the guild, as our work breaks multiple laws.
VI) We do not kill unless all other options have been exhausted first.
