[[OOC WARNING: GRAPHIC CONTENT/BLOOD/GORE/BODY SEVERING]]

[do not open it if you're sensitive to these topics]

Spoiler
Far outside of the town, a battle would be had between two fierce warrior women. Spells flying, blades clashing but only one came out the victor. Unknown to them who it was that assaulted and killed them. However the victor would not stop there once the death was ensured. The head would be severed and helmet removed to show the face of Nia Beholt.

Later into the same night, the bastard who claimed this victory would /defile/ a shrine that’s right on the outskirts of the valley of flowers.Nia asked the armored figure to give her back her grimoire she stole so long ago, and they did. Using the grimoire to pry their mouth open and shove it deep so it’s held between her teeth and then tossing the head into the water. The red ichor mixing and staining the normally clear water.

[[Only Maliketh, Caleb, Iselle and Gideon may show up to this outcome. As this is a private event/RP meant only for these characters.]]

The Spirit Tomb Curiosity Shop was never properly closed last night. And yet, it lay open but empty.

Cards are laid out on the table; a cup of chamomile tea rests there, untouched, cold, and the candles are starting to go out.

After the incidents of last night, the Stranger has yet to return to his perch ... The Caravan has started to grow restless only a night after his disappearance ...

The stray cats, too, are restless ... and hungry. Those who poke too far into the man's wagon may face the wrath of many felines waiting for their beloved stranger to return and feed them.

[!]

Word spreads fast throughout the Reach about The Gilded Kestrels crash along the southern shoreline. Fifty-six Korami sailors are confirmed dead, with names of the fallen being posted everyday with the assistance of Chancellor Anwar Ibn'Fadil.

Further rumors say two Moon clan nobles were held captive by a cabal of mages led by one known only as Order, performing cruel experiments on strange creatures and people alike. An operative party from the Spire tracked them to a ruined watchtower near the Ouroboros river delta, and pulled them out alive with assistance of a carefully planned strike force from the recently returned and mustered Spire militia in the middle of the night.

Rumor from Spire hospital workers spreads that one noble was a victim of their cruel experiment and was surgically operated on - the details are supposedly left quiet for confidentiality. Other rumors say a sizable number of their order successfully fled out of the Reach, leaving many to worry.

Since then, dozens of dockworkers, sailors and volunteers have been clearing the wreckage and marking bodies for transport back to their families in Ko'ram - a sizable effort undertaken by several members of the Seneschalty council to improve foreign relations with the Arsa clans of the west.

The sounds of a spear tapping against the cobbled streets of the Spire vanish as a robed greatling is no longer seen tending to the graveyard or walking around town.

[!]

The seashore becomes a lonelier place. The Mistwatcher residence suddenly finds one of the many rooms vacant, one less eye overlooks its garden.
Anyone accustomed with these places could feel like something was missing, but not many would realize it was the Madama herself.
Those who she had shared her dreams with, would find themselves dreaming of that very shore:
The Madama stranded in a dress of seashells, with no knights to come to her rescue.
What happened to you, Madama Dorè?

Important OOC notes:

Spoiler

If she's not found by the 31st, something really bad will happen to her.

She's currently in the need of being rescued. Greater Resonance and Scry will be your most likely allies. She cannot be nightsent as she's unconscious but alive.
DM on discord to search for her.

boom.

. . .

Yesterday afternoon, by the water north of the Spire on a rocky shoreline, a loud explosion could be heard as far away as the Guardhouse. Investigation would yield a strange lack of... well, almost anything. A strangely small, wet piece of ice melting away underneath the late-day sun. A few glass shards crunching underfoot.

No evidence of injury.

OOC + G.Resonance

Spoiler

L&K related. We did stupid science and shook something really hard, but no one was hurt!

Greater Resonance would return an eruption of Tellurgy, with trace amounts of Ichor. Far from an even ratio, something like 10 to 1.

[🎻]

The people familiar with the bard, even in passing may notice that something seems... off. The few who visited their place by the docks- the office that only opened so recently, will find nothing. An inkwell gone dry, drafts of the week's newspaper laid out neatly upon their desk. There are no signs of a struggle, however. So they were not forcefully taken there.

A day passes, then a few more. It's been... a while. And yet day by day they are never seen even once at any of their usual spots. Not at the tavern, the pit, or even the Undercity. Their office continues to go untouched, and no changes go about in their room on the second floor. The kettle of tea set out runs cold.

It was no secret they were investigating the recent disappearances themself on the side. Brutal attacks from vampires and the like.
It is ironic the worst seems to have happened, just a little bit.

Oh dear.

OOC!!!!!

The Fey's Maestro

Out under the tree, the moons did glow.

Out under the tree, blood did flow.

Three walked in, only one walked forth.

Out under the tree, a fight was had.

Out under the tree, no one was glad.

Outside the spire, just under the boughs of the Vampire tree, a trap was laid. A greatling sat in wait, her shadow nearby.

The shadow struck; the greatling ran. Blood did flow, each blow bringing them closer and closer to falling.

Though, under the tree, no one found themselves victorious. One in chains, one wounded, one in turmoil.

All caused by one person — the only one who truly saw herself as a monster.

A white-haired, half-arsa walked away, having won. Yet, did she truly win? If she did, at what cost?

But one thing was certain: there was one less creature to terrorize the night.
